ADVICE FOR ACCOMODATION

Some piece of advice on possible (cheap/close) accomodation:

1) Look at hotels, Airbnb, etc. in the 5th district/arrondissement (postal code 75005). They are at walking distance from the School site.

2) Look for hotels & other accomodations close to the South part of metro line 7. You have a direct connection to the School site (metro stop : Jussieu). So, several hotels & other accomodations in the 13th district/arrondissement (postal code 75013) are fine (especially those close to Gobelins, place d’Italie, Tolbiac, Porte d’Italie metro stops) ; also hotels & C in Ivry-sur-Seine and Villejuif (especially those close to the Pierre et Marie Curie campus, Mairie d’Ivry, Le Kermlin-Bicetre, Villejuif Leo-Lagrange, Villejuif Paul Vaillant-Couturier, Louis Aragon metro stops) are fine. 

3) For hotels in other parts of the town (and suburbs), please keep in mind that the School site is located at the Jussieu metro stop (line 7 and line 10). More than one change in metro lines is not advised, as well as the use of RER lines (with the exception of RER B, which has quite frequent trains). 4) If your budget is very limited and/or you are a small group, consider also hostels (for instance https://www.oops-paris.com/ 15-20 min walking from the school site) which often can provide 4-bed rooms.
